2005
Foundation Established
The Laurice Khoury Foundation was founded with the goal of supporting disabled Palestinian students in higher education.
2010
First Scholarship Program Launched
We launched our first scholarship program, providing financial aid to students in need.
2015
Expansion of Support Services
Expanded our services to include mentorship programs and career counseling for students.
2020
Digital Accessibility Initiative
Introduced initiatives to improve digital accessibility for students with disabilities, ensuring they have the tools needed for online learning.

Challenges Faced
Barriers to Education
Disabled Palestinian university students encounter numerous challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited access to assistive technologies, and a lack of tailored educational materials. These barriers hinder their ability to fully participate in academic life. Additionally, societal stigma and insufficient policy support further exacerbate these challenges, making it difficult for students to achieve their educational goals.
